Rohit Shinkre

A practicing Architect and Academician. Starting as a trainee architect in Paris, France, in 1987 and establishing an independent practice in Mumbai in 1996, he has worked on a variety of projects, from planning to product design, in India, Europe, the Middle East, and Africa for a variety of user groups from communities to corporate. This solid experience is the basis of our capability to undertake and deliver design and planning studies and projects in any context. His academic work started as a design studio mentor at his alma mater Ecole d’Architecture de Paris - La Defense, in 1991. He has been a vital faculty member at the Rachana Sansad Academy of Architecture in Mumbai since 1996, where he is currently a Professor Design Chair, approved by the University of Mumbai. His work and articles have been published in India and internationally.
